🏥 SHIF (Social Health Insurance Fund)
Replaced NHIF in 2024. SHIF charges a flat percentage of gross income with no upper ceiling.
🏦 NSSF (National Social Security Fund)
Contributions are split into two tiers based on earnings limits. Both employee and employer contribute equally.
📋 PAYE (Pay As You Earn)
KRA's progressive income tax bands applied to taxable income after deducting allowable pension contributions.
